We are planning a wedding for June 27, 2009. When should I start registering for stuff?

I have been engaged since December and am excited to start the wedding planning. I know that bedding is seasonal, but can I start registering for things now. We are having an engagement party in October. Should we have some stuff by then?

    For stuff any time you can spread the store anymore would just make registery about week before you can start the word am not be at the word am not sure if you are registered.

    You can register–or start a registry, adding more items later–as early as a few weeks after you become engaged, but people typically register four to six weeks before their first shower. Also, keep in mind that if you register too early, you risk items going out of stock.
