wedding planning?
July 2nd, 2008 | by admin |actuary0424 asked:
I am planning on having my wedding at sunset on the beach. The day I am planning, the sunset is supposed to be at 8pm. I am inviting adults and children to the wedding, but will people want to bring their kids to a sunset wedding and evening reception? BTW, the wedding location is about a 2-3 hour drive for most people attending. Thanks!
so should I not invite kids…? I want them there…but if it would just be a hassle for the parents?…
It is my family that has kids… I have a huge catholic/polish family and we are really close… I would think they would come… Why don’t you think they would?
I guess I should add that it is a private beach with a 3 br house…

im renting the place for friday, saturday, then leaving sunday morn… and having the wedding on saturday

Hi there. What I would suggest you do is to hire a nanny/babysitter or two for the evening. Since you are hiring a house dedicate a room in the house to the kids. Have a tv, some colouring books and toys and lots of matresses. Rent some kids movies, give them each a goodie bag specially for them. Then let your guests with small children know that this service is available to them. This way the children will be out of your way and not screaming and running around during important times in your evening, and your friends and family will be able to relax knowing their kids are being looked after and are closeby for them to check on.
Since you are having a beach wedding you might want to check out for some help with planning it.
Good luck and have fun!

Be sure to let the invited guests know the location and time it will take to get there and then they can make up their own minds whether to bring the kids or not.
